Your previous Bethel Lynda.com learning history, account info and certifications should also show in LinkedIn Learning.  If not let us know.

LinkedIn Learning continues to provide instructional videos online and offline on any device

Set up your LinkedIn Learning Account

Step 1: Go to my.bethel.edu, click on More tools and select LinkedIn-Learning or go directly to  linkedin-learning.bethel.edu 

Step 2:  In the Bethel authentication box, enter your Bethel username and password.

Step 3: Next, you will be prompted to connect your LinkedIn account. 

  • Option 1: Select the option to  'Continue without connecting my LinkedIn account'.  

  • Option 2: If you do have a LinkedIn account and also want to link your LinkedIn account to your LinkedIn Learning account you can select the 'Connect my LinkedIn account'.

Step 4: Confirm your identity, review, and 'Accept' the LinkedIn Learning terms and privacy policy.

Step 5: Pick the skills that interest you.  You must select at least one skill to continue.

Step 6: Start learning with LinkedIn Learning.  Use the filters on the left, the Browse link at the top, or the search box at the top to find a course that might interest you.

Faculty: To link to a LinkedIn Learning Video in Moodle:

1. Add an Activity or Resource and select  URL (could also be a page or other).
2. Provide a name in the Name field
3. Get the link by going to the video in LinkedIn Learning and copy the URL from your browser's address field.


****4. Paste the link into the External URL field in Moodle and after the number at the end of the URL type   &auth=true   (no spaces)****

Example: https://www.linkedin.com/learning/how-to-use-linkedin-learning/advance-your-skills-with-linkedin-learning?u=57679401&auth=true

5. In the Description box place the following:

If the  link above does not take you to the video after signing in on the Bethel Authentication page, please click on this link, https://linkedin-learning.bethel.edu, log in to Bethel's linked in learning account, and then return to Moodle to click on the link to the video. More information about Bethel's LinkedIn Learning Account.

6. Check the checkbox for "Display description on course page".
7. Save.
