When Firefox is not working properly and reinstalling the browser does not solve the problem, creating a new profile may solve the problem.


To do this you will need to first create a new profile, switch to that profile in order to test it, and then delete the old profile (if the test worked). Before creating a new profile, it is important to first export your bookmarks associated your profile. The following KB articles give instructions on this process.
