Removal from Housing

Under certain circumstances involving the health or safety of a student or others, or disruption to the residential or learning community, a student may be immediately removed from university housing. This decision will be made by the associate dean of residence life with the concurrence of a dean of students. Removal from housing will be handled on a case-by-case basis as determined by the university in its sole discretion.


 In the event that a student is removed from university housing:

 

  • The student will be informed of all pertinent information leading to the decision for removal from housing.
  • The length of the removal will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • The conditions under which a student may return to university housing will be identified at the time of removal and provided to the student in writing.
