Summary

A Pop-up blocker is a piece of computer software that prevents unwanted web pages from appearing on your screen while browsing the internet.  For most occurrences, pop-ups are not wanted, rendering the blocker to be very useful.  However, sometimes necessary pop-ups are blocked inadvertently by the system.  In these cases, the pop-up blocker will need to be disabled for those certain sites.  This article gives instructions on how to turn on/off the Pop-up Blocker and how to allow pop-ups on specific websites for multiple browsers and operating systems.
