WELCOME!

Dear Bethel Students,

I am delighted to take this opportunity to welcome you back to Bethel University! I cannot believe we are almost at that point where students will begin returning to campus. While you have been away, we have been diligently planning for your return so that we can ensure the wellbeing of the entire Bethel community. Although this is an unprecedented and challenging time in our history, we believe we are ready to re-engage face-to-face with the Bethel community and we are excited about that prospect.

Because of the COVID-19 virus, we have created new guidelines about how we must live together in community in order to support one another and keep us all safe. This document will share many of the procedures and plans that we have established. We hope this will answer many of your questions. I ask that you read each section carefully and join with us in following the expectations which have been established for our community members so that we can remain together in community, while supporting each other in love.

I realize that you may have varying opinions and views about wearing face coverings and social distancing, but as believers living in community, our individual freedoms and opinions are not as important as the wellbeing of the entire Christian community. Please join with us in caring for yourself, for those around you, and for members of the community at large.

We desire to create the best learning environment for you and those around you so that you can achieve the goals and aspirations the Lord has for you and so that we will thrive in these challenging times.
