This article is aimed for students who have graduated and need email notifications to reset their Bethel password.
Bethel email accounts expire after 90 days. If you dont log in and change your password, you will get locked out of your account. You can call the helpdesk and get your password reset and unlock your account.
Open Gmail in a web browser
In the top right, select Settings and See all Settings
Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
In the "Forwarding" section, click Add a forwarding address
Enter the email address you want to forward messages to.
You will then click Next, Proceed, and OK.
A verification message will be sent to that email address. Click the verification link in the message.
After you have verified the email, go back to your Bethel email and refresh the page.
Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
In the "Forwarding" section, select Forward a copy of incoming mail to.
Choose the email you sent as your forwarding address.
At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
