How to Edit your Moodle Profile Settings

Your profile in Moodle is where your personal information and picture reside.  Some of the information can be customized by individuals.

Step by Step Tutorial

Log into Moodle at https://moodle.bethel.edu or click on the “Moodle” icon in the Blink homepage.

Students and instructors can edit their user profile by following these steps:

1.  Click on your Name link in upper corner or in People block, click on the Participants link, and then click on your name.

 

2. Or from your profile page or the course home page click on the Settings menu on the left, click on edit profile.

 

3. Update information as appropriate.

4. Add a personal picture image to your profile.

In the User Picture area, click on "Choose a file"
Use the File Picker to upload your picture. A small image works best. 

 

5. Click ‘Update profile’ to complete
    Please note that your web browser program may "hold onto" the old version even after you upload or change the picture.  If you see the new picture in your profile, then just clear your browser cache and the new picture should show up.
